We’ll begin our 3-day journey by visiting Ifrane, also called the little Switzerland of Morocco, known for its beautiful architecture and clean streets. As we travel through the Middle Atlas, we’ll pass by the cedar forest of Azrou, where we might spot some Berber monkeys. We’ll then continue to Midelt, famous for its cool climate and minerals, before heading to Erfoud and stopping in Rissani city to explore the lively local market and taste some delicious Berber pizza.
Once we reach Merzouga, we’ll rest a bit, then set off on a camel trek into the golden dunes to catch a magical sunset. We’ll end the day with dinner and a wonderful night under the stars at our desert camp.
After breakfast, we’ll get ready for an exciting adventure by hopping on quad bikes to explore the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes for about an hour, a perfect chance to try one if you’ve never tried it before. Next, we’ll visit the Gnawa association to enjoy some amazing spiritual music. Not far from there is the Merzouga lake, home to beautiful birds, and if time allows, we might also explore the traditional market in Rissani village. We’ll then return to Merzouga and spend another peaceful night at our desert camp.
We’ll wake up early to catch the stunning sunrise over the Sahara dunes, then enjoy a traditional breakfast before starting our journey back to Fes. Our first stop will be the beautiful Ziz Valley, followed by a drive through the Tizi n Talghamt mountains to reach Midelt, known as the apple capital, where we’ll have lunch.
After a little rest, we’ll continue to the cedar forest, hoping to spot some playful monkeys and snap a few photos. The road then takes us to Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” our last stop before reaching Fes. We’ll travel through charming Berber villages in the Middle Atlas until we finally arrive in Fes, where our tour ends with a drop-off at your chosen place.
