We’ll begin our exciting 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes by picking you up right from your accommodation. From there, we’ll set off toward Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa, traveling through the stunning Tizi N’tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains.
Along the way, we’ll explore the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the backdrop for movies like Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy. After a tasty lunch, we’ll continue our adventure through Skoura’s lush palm oasis and drive by the beautiful Roses Valley until we arrive at the impressive Dades Gorges for the night.
After enjoying a traditional breakfast, we’ll set off toward the magnificent Todra Gorges, also known as the Grand Canyons of Morocco. We’ll have some time to explore this stunning area on your own before taking a break for lunch. Then we continue our journey to Merzouga, where the breathtaking golden dunes of the Sahara await us.
Once we get there, we’ll get ready for an adventure of a lifetime, a camel trek through the dunes to our desert camp, maybe even trying a bit of sandboarding along the way. After dinner, we’ll gather around the campfire under the stars and enjoy the magic of the desert night with some lively Berber drumming.
After having breakfast, we will get ready to start an explorative journey of the area, by using a Quad bike, which is a great chance to ride one. On a trek that lasts about one hour across the Erg-Chebbi dunes. Then we will head to the association of Gnawa to enjoy a piece of spiritual music from another dimension.
Not far away, there’s the lake of Merzouga, known with its beautiful birds. If time permits, we may also have the chance to visit the souk of Rissani village (traditional market), then we will go back to Merzouga to spend the night at the camp.
On the last day of our wonderful Marrakech to Fes desert tour 4 days, we’ll head toward Fes, passing through the beautiful Ziz Valley and stopping by Erfoud, famous for its fossils and marbles. We’ll continue through the impressive Ziz Gorges, enjoying the ever-changing landscapes. As we travel along the edge of the Cedar Forest, we might even spot some playful Barbary apes if we’re lucky.
Our next stop will be Ifrane, a neat and charming town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” nestled in the Middle Atlas mountains. From there, we’ll keep exploring the stunning scenery of Berber villages before finally reaching Fes, where we’ll end our 4 day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes with a comfortable drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
