Volubilis One Day Trip from Fes Itinerary:

 While we make our way towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, we will enjoy a scenic drive through the Moroccan countryside. This journey will typically take around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Once we get there, you will get the chance to learn more about the history of Volubilis through your local guide and embark on a guided tour of this archaeological site, a former Roman settlement and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also, get to explore the well-preserved ruins of ancient Roman buildings, including temples, basilicas, and elaborate mosaics.

After enjoying a leisurely lunch at a nearby restaurant, we will take a short drive of 8-10 minutes away to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, the holiest town in Morocco.

We will get to explore the narrow streets of the town and visit the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss I (founder of the Idrisid dynasty), while we enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

From there, we will drive back to Fes and end our Fes to Meknes and Volubilis day trip by dropping you off at your accommodation.
