Itinerary Program:

We will greet you upon your arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport and start our journey with a visit to the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque right by the ocean waves. After taking time to admire its impressive marble floors and tall minaret, we will set off on a smooth drive toward the cultural capital of Fes. Along the way, we will stop for a quick lunch and enjoy views of the green Moroccan countryside. By late afternoon, we will arrive in Fes and check into a beautiful traditional riad inside the medina. We will finish our evening with a relaxing dinner and plenty of time to rest after your flight.

We will depart Fes after breakfast and head south into the Middle Atlas Mountains toward the high dunes of the Sahara Desert. We will stop in the cedar forests near Azrou to meet friendly wild Barbary macaque monkeys that love eating fresh fruit. Continuing through the scenic Ziz Valley, we will admire miles of green palm trees framed by red canyon walls before reaching Merzouga by late afternoon. Here, we will mount gentle camels for an unforgettable sunset ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will spend our night in a luxury desert camp featuring private bathrooms, hot showers, and traditional music around a campfire.

We will spend our second day exploring the ancient medina of Fes el-Bali alongside an expert local guide who knows every winding corner. We will visit the golden gates of the Royal Palace, walk through the historic Jewish Quarter, and admire the intricate tilework of traditional Islamic schools. During the afternoon, we will stop at viewing balconies over the famous Chouara tanneries to see craftsmen making leather using ancient methods. You will have plenty of opportunities to shop for handmade ceramics, lamps, and spices at a relaxed pace suitable for all ages. We will return to our peaceful riad for a quiet evening.

We will wake early to watch a magical Saharan sunrise over the dunes before enjoying a hot, freshly prepared breakfast at camp. After returning from the dunes, we will drive toward the dramatic Todra Gorge, where sheer rock cliffs rise 300 meters above a rushing mountain stream. We will take an easy walk along the canyon floor to stretch our legs and capture family photos surrounded by nature. Next, we will continue driving along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs into the lush Dades Valley. We will check into a charming kasbah hotel for a delicious dinner overlooking the valley.

We will start our day traveling through the fragrant Rose Valley toward Ouarzazate, famously known as the film capital of Morocco. We will stop to explore the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, an ancient mudbrick fortress featured in famous movies like Gladiator. In the afternoon, we will take a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic mountain views along the way. We will descend into the lively red city of Marrakech by evening and check into a luxury boutique riad located close to the old medina.

We will spend our day discovering the incredible sights and sounds of Marrakech, accompanied by a knowledgeable private local guide. We will visit the ornate halls of Bahia Palace, admire the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, and explore the tranquil shaded pathways of the famous Majorelle Garden. In the afternoon, we will wander through colorful souks filled with leather bags, copper lanterns, and fragrant spices before visiting Jemaa el-Fnaa square. At sunset, the square comes alive with storytellers, musicians, and food stalls, offering an unforgettable atmosphere for families and couples alike. We will return to our riad for rest.

We will keep this day open and flexible so you can enjoy Marrakech at your own personal pace. You can choose to relax with a traditional Moroccan spa and hammam treatment, join a fun family cooking class to learn tagine recipes, or simply wander through the quiet lanes of the medina for souvenir shopping. For those interested in modern culture, we can arrange a visit to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum or a quiet cafe overlooking rooftop gardens. In the evening, we will gather for a special farewell dinner to celebrate our 8 days Morocco itinerary across Morocco. We will sleep in our comfortable riad.

We will enjoy a calm breakfast at our riad on our final morning before organizing your private transfer. Depending on your travel plans, we will drive you safely to Marrakech Menara Airport or arrange a comfortable transfer back to Casablanca Mohammed V Airport for your flight home. We will schedule departure times carefully to ensure you reach your terminal with plenty of time for check-in and security.
