It depends on the season. From November to February, nights can drop to 0–5°C (32–41°F), so warm pyjamas and a fleece are essential. In spring and autumn (March–May, September–October), nighttime temperatures range between 8–15°C (46–59°F),  cool but comfortable. Summer nights are mild at 18–25°C (64–77°F). Either way, we provide thick blankets, and the tents block the wind well. You’ll be cosy, not freezing.

The camel ride in the afternoon is about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half, and about 1 hour in the Morning.

Luxury camps are the best in offering premium comfort with spacious tents. Private bathrooms, different kinds of bed sizes ( king beds, double beds, twin beds, or single beds), and offering enhanced amenities like electricity, and Wi-Fi(though it may be limited due to the remote location).

Generally, no, and that’s part of the magic. The desert camps are deep in the Erg-Chebbi dunes, far from phone towers or fibre optics. Most camps have no WiFi, and the mobile signal is very weak or nonexistent. We encourage guests to embrace the digital detox: watch the stars, talk around the fire, and truly disconnect. If you absolutely need urgent access, ask your guide about satellite options, but don’t rely on it.

In the luxury desert camp, yes , there are shared charging points in the main dining tent or sometimes in each tent. In the standard camp, charging is limited to the common area (e.g., the lounge tent). We always recommend bringing a fully charged power bank as a backup, since the Sahara is off-grid. Either way, you’ll have enough battery for sunset photos and emergency use.

No, you don’t need to bring a sleeping bag. All our desert camps,  standard and luxury,  provide clean, warm bedding including blankets and pillows. In the luxury camp, you’ll even get extra-thick comforters and heated mattress pads during colder months. The tents are designed to retain heat, so you’ll sleep comfortably without carrying extra luggage.
